As the course winds its way along the Cooper River, it's proximity to this body of water creates some dramatic challenges once you begin your journey on the links. Water hazards and marsh jut in and around the fairways as well as a number of bunkers that all make getting to the green that much more difficult. Also, you'll need to focus your approach shots to avoid the greenside hazards and thick rough. Add the wind to the equation and the Dunes becomes an even more formidable challenge.

The Charleston National Country Club Golf Course is strategically set among several challenges that will test the skills of even the most seasoned golfer. Playing to almost 7,000 yards from the tips, you'll need to make sure that your tee shots are focused and accurate in order to poise you for a good game on this hazard-filled course.
